“Whatever happens tomorrow, we’ve had today. And if we should bump into each other sometime in the future, well that’s fine too, we’ll be friends.”

– Emma Morely (One Day, 2011)

Breathe…

You’re going to be okay.

Breathe and remember that you’ve been on this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable, and anxious, and scared, and you’ve survived it.

Breathe, and you know you can survive this one too. These feelings can’t break you. They’re painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them and eventually, they will pass.

Maybe not immediately, but sometime soon they are going to fade, and when they do, you’ll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience. I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, keep living, again and again.

You ruled the campus scene, and now it’s time to rule the world.

Graduating from college is a huge leap, and it launches you right into adulthood.

Whether you’ve got a job lined up or not, the reality is you need to clean up your act.

Most women worry about losing the fun and freedom their undergrad years granted them, but there are actually tons of reasons to look forward to putting your wild side to rest (at least on the weekdays).

Move On But Don’t Forget Your Loss

By Alexandra Bannon |  Elite Daily ©

“At least once in our lives, we will all experience the essence of hurt, betrayal and pain.”

These emotions can come from all factors of life.

We can feel hurt when the flame we shared with someone we loved goes out; we can feel betrayed by a friend; we can feel pain when someone we love dies.

Nothing quite compares to trying to move on from something or someone who played a pivotal role in our lives.

Moving on from something that causes us immense heartache is one of the most painful experiences an individual can go through.

You can’t rush it and you can’t force it. It takes time.

It’s as simple as that.

As I got older, I learned that there is whole other world to dating than what I once thought. I realized that sometimes in life, relationships can be hard and most consist of compromise and sacrifice.

I came to understand that the love a person has for another can just simply leave. Relationships can fall apart and marriages can divorce. But, the one thing that I have seen time and again is the idea that women believe we can change men.

The man could be a criminal, cheating on his beloved partner or even taking advantage of us, and we could still be in love with him.

It happens every day. We witness our best friend crying over the man she loves.

And the next day, she’s back with him…

The Last Words For The Guy Who Wasn’t Ready

By Anonymous | Candy Magazine ©

“Love has always been a tough battle to win.”

Love…

It has been the reason for the happiest moment of our lives, but it has also been the one which kept our minds confused and our hearts often broken.

There are still times when I remember you. I admit that it has been a difficult situation for me because I knew we both had to move on. We already showed how much we cared for each other yet at the same time, we never failed to notice how much it still was not enough. We got hurt a dozen of times already but what can I do? My feelings still linger deep down that I can’t help anymore but suffer from within.

I know we need to let go of each other as soon as possible but I still need to say these words.

Please hear me out for the last time.
